angelika rinnhofer, and peter iannarelli are collaborating on an installation incorporating visual, and audio elements for bau 4.

bau 3: bau as studio

Gary jacketti's the book of art, spreads out across the space at bau. Jacketti spent the first week of his exhibit in the bau space, creating collages. Now, the collages have been taken to his studio for the final processes before being returned to bau to be hanged for the prologue reception on friday, april 1st, 6-9 pm.

There were a lot of activities around Beacon on Saturday night, and of course, among them was the kickoff to Gary Jacketti's exhibition, b a u 3: the book of art. With so many events happening, folks needed more time to hit them all. b a u's openings normally run from 6 to 9 pm, but for this night,the busiest time of the entire evening was between 10 and 11. Jacketti will be working in the b a u space throughout the run of the exhibit, creating work that will be completed in time for the prologue celebration on april 1st.

1000 paper cranes benefit art auction @ b a u, 3.19.05

the 1000 paper cranes art auction and concert benefitting local children suffering with cancer will be held at b a u on saturday, march 19. more details on the event, the cranes, and ways to help.

in addition to this event, the other five members of bau will be representing their work at collaborative concepts, and spire studios. more on this.

b a u member, kathy feighery is among several beacon, and hudson valley area artists included in a curated show in peekskill. the show, entitled "word wack," opens saturday, march 5,2005 at maxwell fine arts.
