harald plochberger has invited three artists to participate in an exhibition of self reflection. bau 5/...stages... sets the stage for the artists, donald alter, melissa greaves, claude van lingen and harald plochberger to present works that , for them, stand as important markers, representing the various stages of their creative career.

peter iannarelli is among the artist scheduled to discuss, and show images of their work at the monthly artists conversation series at chthonic clash coffee house, to be held on 5.5.05 at 7 pm.

angelika rinnhofer's images will be included in an exhibit at kleinblue productions, 518 main st #8, beacon. angelika's images document a butoh dance performance held in central park by the vangeline theater during the run of the gates project in february. the installation includes text by sara stanley. the exhibit opens saturday, may 7. more details at bau bulletin.

bau on exhibit at millbrook winery

the millbrook vineyards & winery, in millbrook, ny, is currently hosting a group exhibit of work by bau artists in the winery's "art in the loft" program of exhibitions housed in the winery's main building. the "art in the loft" program is curated by the dutchess county arts council, in cooperation with the winery. the artwork will be on view through june 26, 2005.

bau 4: luff notes

An additional element to Peter Iannarelli's contribution to bau 4, ist the luff note. The luff notes are notepads printed with 10 ways of saying 'I love you' without using the words "I" "love" or "you."

bau 4: installation images

angelika rinnhofer's & peter iannarelli's collaborative effort, bau 4: shadow echo/proof i'm here, opened on sat april 9. The result of angelika's life size, predominantly black photograms, and peter's sound piece, played through ten black boomboxes floating on the wall is a boldly graphic visual presentation with an added dizzying cycle of layered spoken words.

gary jacketti wrapped up his exhibit at bau by installing the work produced over the course of the month, and celebrating with martinis, manhattans, and music by mission church.
